FAQ
What people ask about the cloud.
Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace?
If your company works in Word and Excel on Windows machines, Microsoft 365 is usually the better choice. Google Workspace shines where people work in the browser with simple co-editing. After the assessment we give you a concrete recommendation.
Will e-mail stop during the migration?
No. We copy mail in the background and switch over outside working hours. The next morning your staff work in their new mailboxes, old messages included.
Why back up separately if everything is in the cloud?
The provider is responsible for keeping the infrastructure available, not for accidental deletions or files encrypted by ransomware. A separate backup lets you restore in those cases.
How much does it cost?
The provider bills licences per user, and we keep that cost down by matching plans to roles. We quote the rollout item by item and offer operations as a monthly service.
How long until we are on the new environment?
For a smaller company it typically takes a few weeks from assessment to switchover. The exact schedule depends on the number of mailboxes and the volume of data.
