Mobile audits instead of paper, with official certification
At an international animal health company, vaccine storage, use and quality assurance on customers’ farms were audited on paper and typed into Excel afterwards. For four European countries a web and mobile audit system was built on OutSystems, with our team leading development, project management and architecture, integrated with Bureau Veritas: a completed audit leads to an official certificate, with one procedure everywhere and real-time feedback.
Vaccine production in a guided process instead of Excel
At the US subsidiary of an international animal health company, researchers and bioengineers calculated vaccine composition, dosage and production process in Excel and on paper. On QuickBase we built a calculation and record-keeping system: it guides users through the process, and resource needs, lead time and raw material use can be planned in advance.

Custom development or an off-the-shelf product?
If a ready-made product covers most of your processes, it is usually the better choice, and we will tell you so. We recommend custom development when the process is part of your competitive edge, or when off-the-shelf tools would need too many workarounds.
How much does development cost?
For a well-defined scope we quote a fixed price; for changing or gradually growing requirements we recommend time-and-materials (T&M) billing. After discovery you receive an itemised estimate.
Who owns the source code?
You do. We hand over the source code, the documentation and the intellectual property rights, so anyone can develop the system further later.
How long does it take?
The prototype is typically ready within a few weeks. A first usable version takes a few months depending on scope, and grows sprint by sprint after that.
What happens after go-live?
If you wish, we take on maintenance, bug fixing and further development, with a 24-hour response time as agreed.
